(5.0 Out of 10) Blade Runner is certainly an imaginative film, even if it is much too murky and obtuse. Although the movie may make interesting, subtle comments on memory/dreams/ creation etc, it is often without feeling or emotion. The surroundings of futuristic hopelessness is rampant, but the atmosphere of Blade Runner never creates a poignancy, while all the performances also feel synthetic, as well. Thematically all the characters may possibly be robots, yes, but this stylistic choice is sadly done in a film that does not move or emote on any level, thus making it a rather languid watch.
