  (9.0 Out of 10) Heightened by its use of its one-setting gimmick and sometimes restricted by its stagey nature, Rope often works as a suspense thriller where the ending may not be a secret, nor is it surprising, but it’s supremely suspenseful getting there as Alfred Hitchcock lets things sizzle along. A finely done, subtle film.
