- This movie is about loneliness..about your place in the world...about existence...
- this movie is kind of an avant garde. Marty and de niro were perfect. The allure is not so ordinary. There weren't a lot of problem and bullets but it will play our adrenaline.
- It suggests that there is something malignant inside all of us. That our noblest intentions can be corrupted and perverted by the isolation and loneliness of modern existence.
- to me a flawlees film. seems to have a profound influence on an infinite amount of other films. as i did with the books and music, wanted to use just one film per director to diversify my list some. this movie is an overwhelming experience each time i watch it.
