(8.0 Out of 10) Wait Until Dark is a fine high-concept plot piece. The movie has an inspired premise, and is well acted by Audrey Hepburn, and even better, is the spine-tingling Alan Arkin. This suspense/thriller also boasts one of the best conclusions in terror film history, complete with one of the best ‘lunging’ jump scares ever in a picture. Wait Until Dark does have a few faulty elements in some of its awkward moments of over-acting (you know the ones in the old movies with cheesy music in the background,) and a sense of palatable suspense and terror is not really achieved until the climax, but the film is elegant and classy from beginning to end.
