  10.0 Out of 10) A fine, unrestrained look on racism, White Dog (1982) does not pull its punches or feel pushy and fake like recent films as Crash and American History X did. Well crafted and moving, using its empathetic albeit obsessed characters who become obsessed with ‘reprogramming’ the man’s best friends racist tendencies, making the film as heartfelt as it is straight forward. The end most certainly shows sanity being distorted by blind racist hatred, and is as harrowing as it is discussion worthy.
