  (7.1 Out of 10) On Directions To See A Ghost, The Black Angels use a fuller sound than the thin-quality of their debut, and while some songs on it benefit from this and do ignite, others only simmer due to boredom. Since the album is so spotty, it hopefully will act like a stepping stone to a finer-tuned album down the road.
