read a piece in vonneguts last book i thought you would enjoy: "do you know what a twerp is? when i was in high school 65 years ago a twerp was a guy who stuck a set of false teeth up his butt and bit the the buttons off the back seats of taxicabs."
-
i read it a long time ago and it was great. another one i just read by orwell that got me re-interested in him was down and out in paris and london. it was a great read and you can see where much of his ideas that show up in his later work developed.

i think that movie is worth renting, i remember it being pretty funny all the way through. also if you post on other user''s profile page instead of your own they should be notified and be able to respond quicker.

no way to delete it as of yet, working on that right now. bukowski is autobiographical fiction, he talks about the underbelly of society, particularly booze, whores, and gambling. he is a very talented and very funny writer though. factotum or post office are good ones to start with.
