I had huge expectations for this film, mostly based on the previews, and I can safely say, that my expectations were not met. I thought the premise was good and should work on any level. The problems I had was with the writing, and some of the characters, even the main character. I felt the writers may have gotten a little lazy and the main character did not seem right for a lead role. To this date I have only seen him in films where he was cast as an offshoot to the main character. As far as the writing, there seemed to be some points where there was little explanation for character actions in the film, that left me wondering if I missed something. Out of all the characters the most redeeming was the brother of the main character. He played a terrific role and I would think most will agree upon seeing the film. Much like the hangover, although I thought it was worse than S.O.O.M.L., this film was a great big kick in the nuts.

Maybe one of the Coen brother's best. Javier Bardem plays one of the best villains I have ever seen on film. Brolin, Harrelson, and Tommy Lee Jones are also brilliant. A masterpiece of a film. My first as well as subsequent viewings blew me away.

The Promotion is a lightly dark, slash dry, comedy that is worth a few laughs along the way. John C. Reilly as usual is awesome. Not his best movie to date, but his presence in the film alone warrants at least one viewing of The Promotion.

Funny People turned out to be what I would consider a comedic drama. It provided a good dose of comedy from proven comedians while at the same time, it delivered some dramatic performances from the cast. People who think that the only Adam Sandler movies with any merit are Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison should probably not waste their time.

This Deep Dish double CD is a perfect of example Deep Dish and the music they produce and play. It's full of melodic tracks with catchy vocal hooks that give way to heavy grinding or 4/4 tracks that will increase your heart rate. Overall this compilation is very well produced and has a very clean sound. What one would expect from a Global Underground installment.

Paranormal Activity ended up being about what I expected. Although it was frightening at times, I was constantly reminded by the actors in the film and the way the story was portrayed, that I was watching nothing more than a work of fiction, thus decreasing the my level of fear.

This original comedy is one of the best I''ve seen in a while. John C. Reilly''s character creates a good balance with Will Farrell.
