  Story of a Frenchman who goes to Jeruselum to recieve his fathers title as Baron. Very good medieval movie about the Crusades. Though the manin character is fiction, the story surrounding him is based on historical events, such as the King of Jeruselum, carying the giant golden cross, and the defeat of the Christian army. Good profile of religous zealotry on both sides. Directors cut is a more complete movie with more back story
